R. Cameron Leitch
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Leitch joined Hildene Re as Chief Executive Officer in July 2024. He focuses on driving capital-efficient returns and providing analysis and offshore platform management. Mr. Leitch supports Hildene Re’s growth and the development of a scalable platform that offers solutions to clients and returns to investors. Previously, Mr. Leitch was the CEO of a Cayman Islands-based reinsurer, where he managed an offshore platform with business in both the Cayman Islands and Bermuda. He holds a Bachelor of Business from Baylor University and has been an Associate of the Society of Actuaries and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries since 2013. In 2018, he became a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst. Mr. Leitch also serves on the Board of the Cayman International Reinsurance Companies Association (“CIRCA”).
Ms. Santedicola joined Hildene Re as Chief Compliance and Operations Officer in July 2024. She is a seasoned compliance and regulatory specialist with over 20 years of experience in regulatory compliance and legal entity management. Ms. Santedicola primarily focuses on regulatory compliance and corporate governance while ensuring an efficient, risk-appropriate operating model to support the growing offshore business. Before joining Hildene Re, Ms. Santedicola was the Chief Compliance and Operations Officer at a Cayman Islands-based reinsurer, where she managed the compliance and operations program from the company's inception. She holds an LLB from Liverpool University in the UK and a BA from Ryerson in Canada. Ms. Santedicola is also active within CIRCA, where she is also Vice Chair of The Regulatory Committee.
Mr. Kearney joined Hildene Re as Head of Actuarial in July 2024. He leverages his extensive experience in underwriting and modeling various insurance liabilities, including Pension Risk Transfer and Fixed Indexed Annuities, to maintain an actuarial platform that supports the company's strategy and growth. Before joining Hildene Re, Mr. Kearney worked at a Cayman Islands based reinsurer, focusing on Pension Risk Transfer underwriting and pricing, modeling, asset-intensive reinsurance, and capital modeling. He is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in the United Kingdom and the Society of Actuaries in the U.S. and graduated cum laude from the National University of Ireland with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences. Mr. Kearney also plays an active role in CIRCA as Vice Chair of the Marketing Committee.
